Community Project Coordination

We can begin by doing small things at the local level, like planting community gardens or looking out for our neighbors. That is how change takes place in living systems, not from above but from within, from many local actions occurring simultaneously.

My favorite type of work is organizing and coordinating community planting projects. I find that when a community comes together to plant, they are creating something they can come back to over and over again. The sense of ownership and pride that comes from being a part of a living, growing space is immeasurable.
